Some hot-to-trot offers in Lidl this week, starting today with uber-super-duper food, blueberries, at just 99c per punnet. These anti-oxidant packed little beggars normally retail at about €3.50 per punnet, so this is extremely good value, get in there if you like ‘em sprinkled in your yoghurt or porridge! Also on offer today are €1.19 Irish Cooked Ham, and half price clementines, so would be a good day to stop in on the way home methinks…
Summer season has hit Lidl, with some great offers if you’re going to take the massive Irish risk of planning a BBQ. Included in this are 4 lamb burgers for €2.99 (gorgeous with some feta cheese and mint leaves…*drool*), chicken breast fillets for €3, a sliced wholemeal pan for 50c and lots of reductions on coleslaw, potato salad, cheese slices, frankfurters, etc. If you’re brave enough, get in there! From Thursday they’re stocking BBQ ‘stuff’ too. Get quick though, as most of these offers end on Wednesday.
From Thursday to Sun there are 49c mushrooms, 2 for €3 500g packs of mince and smoked gammon steaks for €1.39 each.
Super Saturday continues in its utterly odd pairing of products – this week it’s €1 Utterly Butterly and €4.19 for Chianti Reserva (I’ve had this one, it’s not bad).
Lots of ‘TwoFors’ going too, such as two 2009 French Bordeaux bottles for €5, which seems a little too cheap to be true, if anybody’s tasted it please let me know they got on!
